Hans Karlsson Standards Award
Call for Award Nominations
Deadline: 30 October 2026 - 11:59 PM ET
Standards ensure both humans and systems work together effectively, creating a world of interoperability and cohesion. IEEE Computer Society wants to honor a staunch facilitator of standards, and we need your help.
Do you know a leader whose diplomacy and dedication to collaboration have advanced industry standards? Nominate a professional who has driven the successful development of vital standards.
A plaque and US$2,000 honorarium are presented in recognition of outstanding skills and dedication to diplomacy, team facilitation, and joint achievement in the development or promotion of standards in the computer industry where individual aspirations, corporate competition, and organizational rivalry could otherwise be counter to the benefit of the society.
